Rachel & Nikita — Studio Hooguh

Rachel and Nikita are the principal designers behind Studio Hooguh, a Chennai-based practice that creates homes anchored in warmth, tonal depth, and quiet confidence. Their 4BHK project A Glass of Wine set in Velachery, Chennai resists visual urgency in favour of a slower, more deliberate spatial experience: a navy-drenched foyer, custom wooden ceilings, and a choreography of colour and materiality that reveals itself gradually. Their design philosophy centres on spaces that unfold rather than announce.
